Position Summary

Position Description
This position facilitates development of pricing strategies & implementation plans based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment. Monitors regional price realization and performance against margin targets, regularly reports results and alerts management to any issues. Coordinates with A&S, the IC business and GSM pricing group to ensure a consistent company-wide pricing approach. The role is intended to drive a value-based pricing culture supported by necessary processes and structures.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead activity defining our pricing strategy
Work with pricing team to define our price versus volume bands for key products.
Work with pricing team and OEM team to define and implement an OEM pricing strategy.
Work with pricing team and Industry teams to define and implement Industry pricing strategy.
Work with pricing team and sales to define and implement a key account pricing strategy.
Work with pricing leaders on global banding and currency based agreements.
Provide oversight of implementation of our pricing strategy
Lead quarterly reviews of our price versus volume curves (key products). Develop action plans for outliers.
Lead quarterly reviews of our price differences for key products. Action plans to manage differences within a define band to minimize price erosion.
Review decision authority set points. Work with business leaders to set appropriate levels.
Drive price realization activity. Provide guidance to business unit leaders to maximize price without inhibiting overall growth.
Provide quarterly readout of regional performance / metrics
Act as focal point for pricing team on
Yearly list price adjustments
Delegation of Authority adjustments
Approval of pricing for large opportunities (approval by product line owners)
POV approval
Quarterly portfolio strategy and key product updates for the pricing team
Provide direction for pricing competency development for global / regional product managers.
Collaborate with key functional stakeholders in pricing strategy
Engage global / regional business leaders on pricing guidelines development.
Work with business finance leaders on interdependencies with SKU profitability and regional margin contribution objectives.
Work with the channels organization on distributor guidelines and discount schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor in Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineering.
15+ years of experience including at least 7 years of commercial experience through direct sales or product management.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor in Finance or a Masters is Finance or an MBA.
Prior experience in an internal consulting role helpful
Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work independently and get results
Demonstrated grasp of financial concepts

Demonstrated ability to build \u0026amp; leverage networks
