Job Summary

Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital is a 24/7 emergency referral Equine hospital located in Oconomowoc, WI (south central WI). We currently are looking to hire an evenings and weekend veterinary technician(s) for our Critical Care Department. This position has the ability to be a full-time position that includes benefits or can be a part-time position that accommodates an existing schedule. Responsibilities and Duties
Some of the primary responsibilities of our Veterinary Technicians include:

• Assisting veterinarians with scheduled and emergency procedures
• Providing medical assessment and care of hospitalized patients
• Client Communication
• Maintaining an organized and efficient working environment
• Collecting, preparing, and performing laboratory procedures
• Monitoring inventory needs
• Maintaining medical records
• Qualifications and Skills

• Equine Experience
• Previous Veterinary Technician Experience preferred
• Ability to follow direction
• Ability to multitask & work efficiently
• A positive handle
• Motivated to work independently and work well in a team
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly to a changing fast paced environment
